The Lebanon Voice began publishing its online newspaper on April 13, 2012, reporting on government, fire and police stories and news and special interest features in Lebanon, Maine.
It garnered its first advertiser in May after less than a month of publication.
In July, The Lebanon Voice began covering Milton news as well, and a year later Rochester was added to its primary coverage area.
Now in 2017 The Rochester Voice covers all three towns as well as major news events in Dover, Farmington, Acton and Sanford.
In June 2016 The Lebanon Voice's daily average reach was more than 3,500 visitors, while its unique monthly visitor base was 23,000.
In July 2017 The Rochester Voice (which replaced the former Lebanon Voice) averaged 4,500 daily visits and a unique monthly readership of 30,000.
The newspaper is updated daily, including a story count and news hole far above any weekly newspaper.
In May 2016 the newspaper became a subscriber publication, with yearly access plans for $50, about 14 cents a day, with alternative plans also available.
The Rochester Voice is a full-service newspaper with a vast array of sections, including one each for breaking and community news in its three principal coverage towns, as well as Lifestyle, See N Go, Business, Obituaries and an Opinion Page.
To reflect its news content and community and to provide a better venue for Northern Seacoast advertisers, The Lebanon Voice merged with the newly created The Rochester Voice on July 10, 2017.
The Lebanon Voice and The Rochester Voice are incorporated in the state of Maine.
