A lap dog at heart, Freyja comes full of love, affection

Freyja, our gorgeous gentle giant, has been anxiously waiting for her forever home for nearly five months. A two-and-a-half-year-old Great Dane, she is available for adoption in foster through CVHS.

A friendly, goofy girl, Freyja adores being the center of attention at all times. No matter how long you pet her, she'll continue to demand affection by nudging you with her oversized paw. She just can't get enough! Despite being 120 pounds, this lady has the mindset of a much smaller dog and will attempt to climb onto your lap at any given opportunity!

Though Freyja is currently in foster care, she cannot remain there permanently. She desperately needs a home with an experienced owner, and without other animals. We promise she will smother you will all the love you could ever want!

Freyja is a very sweet girl, but she is still a very large dog. Due to her size and strength, Freyja needs a home without other animals and with family members age 10 and up. She requires an experienced owner that is willing to work with her on her control and manners. Of course, Freyja will also need a human who will give her all the snuggles!

Do you have room for this lovable Great Dane? If you're interested in Freyja, please email mlariviere@cvhsonline.org, as she is in foster and not physically located at the shelter.
