DOVER - Aaron J. Honkonen, 28, of Highland Ave., died at his parent's home in Berwick on Wednesday April 19, 2017, of cancer. Born June 17, 1988, in Weymouth, Mass., the son of Eric C. and Debra (Champagne) Honkonen.
He was a graduate of Noble High School, and attended SMCC. Aaron worked at Fury's Publick House in Dover.
He is survived by his parents, Eric C. and Debra Honkonen of Berwick; a sister Rachel Lynn Honkonen of North Berwick, Maine; paternal grandmother Gloria Beck Honkonen of Berwick, Maine; maternal grandmother Theresa Champagne of Jamaica Plain, Mass.; a special Great Aunt Aubrey Ekstrom of Pittsfild, Mass.; three uncles, Daniel Champagne of N.J., Karl Honkonen of South Berwick, Maine and Don Champagne of North Berwick, Maine; four aunts, Jean Tempesta, Theresa Cunningham both of Everett, Mass., Anne Honkonen of South Berwick, Maine and his favorite Auntie Stephanie Champagne of North Berwick, along with many cousins and close friends.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Charles Honkonen and maternal grandfather Clarence Champagne.
