ROCHESTER - Adelard J. Gagnon, 91, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., after a period of failing health. Adelard was born in Van Buren, Maine, on March 21, 1925, the son of Joseph and Sophie (Roy) Gagnon and had been living in Rochester since 1946, moving from Van Buren, Maine.
He was a veteran of WWII serving with the Army, a member of the Rochester Lodge of Elks and enjoyed bowling.
Surviving members of the family include: one son, David Gagnon and his wife Kathy, one daughter, Jane DeWolfe of West Virginia, one brother, Armand Gagnon, one sister, Lucienne Boucher, both of Rochester, N.H., six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
