WAKEFIELD - Ann (Paul) Hatch, 88, of Wakefield Road in Wakefield, died Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Mountain View Community in Ossipee.
Born October 1, 1928 in Rochester, the daughter of Samuel and Julia (Bishop) Paul, she was raised in Wakefield, attending the Little Red Schoolhouse and a graduate of Spaulding High School in Rochester, Class of 1945. She attended UNH, also attended Columbia University in New York City and earned her Master's Degree in Chemistry from UNH.
In 1958, she married Maurice A. Hatch; they lived in Lee for 36 years and have resided in Wakefield since 1994. A member of the First Congregational Church of Wakefield, she was active with the Parish Helpers and many other service organizations throughout her life.
Survived by her husband of 59 years Maurice A. Hatch and their two sons: Paul Hatch of Wakefield, Warren Hatch, Sr. and wife Doris Hatch of Lee; two grandchildren: Warren Hatch, Jr. of Oakland Park, Fla. and Julia Hatch of Lee; also several cousins.
