FARMINGTON - Anna Louise Dickie, 82, of Colonial Circle in Farmington, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born Nov. 24, 1935 in Farmington, a daughter of Kenneth Watson Dickie and Phyllis (Carpenter) Dickie, she was a lifelong resident, a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of 1954.
She had worked in shipping at the former Weiss-Lawrence Shoe Company in Dover for many years and retired from Thompson Center Arms after 26 years.
Anna was an avid bowler, a member of bowling leagues in Farmington and Rochester, recipient of many trophies. A world traveler, she had been to Germany, England, Australia, Hawaii and Alaska. She also enjoyed bus trips with the Farmington Recreation Program.
Survived by her sister Nancy and husband Joseph O'Brien of Eliot, Maine and their children Katherine and Michael, her brother Kenneth "Pete" and wife Sandra Dickie of New Durham and their children Kenneth, Karen and Kathleen, also many grand nieces and grand nephews, whom she loved as her own.
