Rochester Opera House's 2016 April Vacation Theatre Camp is a joyous hands-on experience open to youth aged 6-12. Classes run April 25-29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with possibility of aftercare until 5:30 p.m.) and are held on the stage of this historic theater.

During the past five years, we have had the privilege of introducing hundreds of children to the wonders of the performing arts on our historic stage. This April vacation, students join together to dance, sing, and learn theatre techniques through games and improvisation, while learning to take a play from page to stage.

This exciting camp, which not only offers lessons in acting, dance, and singing, fosters self-confidence and esteem building for your future "STAR". On April 30, students will perform a showcase of their new skills for an audience of family, friends, and the public. Space is limited, early registration is advised.

Registration forms and information can be found at RochesterOperaHouse.com or call/stop by the box office (603) 335-1992, M/W/F from 10am to 5pm. The 2015/2016 season is sponsored by TD Bank, Eastern Propane & Oil, Shaheen & Gordan, PA, Norm Vetter, Inc., Seacoast Media Group, Albany International, and Liberty Mutual. Rochester Opera House is located in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH. The season continues with Motor Booty Affair on April 29, Toxic Avenger May 5-15, The Garcia Project on May 20 and Strafford Wind Symphony on June 4.

Registration and Tuition: $ 225
