MILTON - Arthur A. Clourier, 82, died Monday, August 31, 2015, at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover after a period of failing health.
Arthur was born in Portsmouth, N.H. on October 4, 1932, the son of Arthur and Eva Marie (Boucher) Cloutier. He was a Navy veteran and worked as an ad printer for the Fosters Daily Democrat for 36 years. His hobbies included music, playing the guitar, singing, especially hymns. He was predeceased by a son Arthur A. Clourier Jr. and by a grandson, Arthur Anthony Clourier III.
Surviving members of the family include, his wife, Hazel (Hadley) Cloutier, four daughters, Mary Elizabeth Yaseda and her husband Takayuki of Japan, Linda Jeanne Cloutier of Dover, N.H., Wanda Elaine Vinguerra and her husband Mark of Dover, N.H. and Janet Theresa Venturi and her husband Margo of Milton Mills, N.H., four sons, Michael Joseph Cloutier of Manchester, N.H., Stephen Vincent Clourier of Texas, James Francis Cloutier of Milton, N.H. and Alan Gerard Clourier of Somersworth, N.H., nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
