Balky taillight leads to slew of charges in late night traffic stop

ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was arrested on several misdemeanor charges Saturday including driving after his license and registration were suspended as well as two summonses for noninspection and marijuana possession following a traffic stop for a broken taillight.

Jeffery Allen Hurley, 37, of 63 Congress St., Apt. #A, was stopped around 1:20 a.m. near Tri-City Towing on Wakefield Street. He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail with a March arraignment.

The two vehicle registration offenses are Class B misdemeanors while vehicle noninspection and marijuana possession (three quarters of an ounce or less) are violations.
