ROCHESTER - A late night traffic stop for a bad taillight led to a felony drug arrest for an East Rochester man on Saturday.

Joshua Molway, 20, of 7 Main St., Apt. #C, was pulled over by police around 2:15 a.m. when a patrol officer spotted a balky taillight of a car on Washington Street.

Molway pulled over on Fairway Avenue and was found to have been driving on a suspended license; he was arrested on a Class B misdemeanor.

Three occupants who were in the vehicle with Molway did not have licenses so the vehicle was towed and inventoried per policy, Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas said today.

Since Clonazepam was located in the car without a prescription, Molway was also hit with a Class B felony charge of drug possession, punishable by three and a half to seven years in state prison.

Molway was bailed on personal recognizance with an arraignment set for next month in Strafford County Superior Court.
