ROCHESTER - Betty Lou Carpenter, 84, formerly of Carl Broggi Highway in Lebanon, Maine died Friday, July 10, 2015, at the Colonial Nursing home in Rochester, N.H.
Born August 8, 1930, in Farmington, N.H., she is the daughter of James and Lucille (Hatch) Hoage.
Betty has lived in Lebanon for the past 60 years after moving from Farmington. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 54 years. She enjoyed Quilting and doing crafts she also worked for the Homemakers of Strafford County.
Members of her family include her husband Phillip Carpenter of Lebanon; her son, Brian Carpenter of Farmington; daughters; Karen Carpenter of East Rochester and Sylvia Deeds of Lebanon; her brother Edward Hoage of Florida and a sister, Donna Chesley of Farmington; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Gina Pantella.
