ROCHESTER - Betty Lou Wolters Sullivan, 73, of Rochester, died on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Maine Medical Center surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was born in Rochester on November 5, 1945 to Ralph Fisher and Geraldine Bennett.
Betty graduated from Spaulding High School in 1963. She attended Plymouth State University and the University of New Hampshire. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and went on to earn her Masters in Education. She began teaching in the Rochester school district in 1972 and became Principal of Allen Street and Maple Street School. In 1985 she pursued a successful career in real estate which she continued up until the time of her passing.
Betty was predeceased by her parents Geraldine Reynolds and Ralph Fisher and her brother Robert Shaw, Jr. She is survived by her husband Robert Sullivan; her sons Doug Wolters and his wife Melissa of Illinois, David Wolters and his wife Belinda of Rochester; her daughters Danielle Wolters and her husband Jason Irish of Rochester, Mandy Bickford and her husband Ben of Rochester; her sisters Gloria Jacques, Roberta Gorman, Donna Shawkilbury. She had nine grandchildren.
