Bicyclist injured as she crashes into parked car on Central Ave.

DOVER - A bicyclist was injured on Saturday when she crashed into a parked car on Central Avenue.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the area of 432 Central Ave. in front of Ear Craft Music.

The woman was transferred to the hospital, but the extent of her injuries were not clear.

Dover Police Sgt. Janine Harrington said Saturday afternoon that she didn't believe there were any citations issued in connection with the accident.

Witnesses said the victim hit the vehicle and tumbled over the handlebars landing on the roof of the car.

The victim's name was not released.
