BANGOR, Maine - Blaze Michael McQuate, 21, of Bangor, Maine, died in a car accident in Winterport, Maine, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, the son of Rodney G. McQuate of Dover, N.H. and Angela Davis McQuate of Mount Dora, Fla.
Blaze graduated from Hampden Academy, Hampden, Maine. He worked at the Hilton Garden in Bangor, Maine. He loved being at the lake, tubing, driving the boat, and camping with his sisters and cousins. He loved playing with his niece and nephews. Blaze loved music from an early age. He enjoyed attending concerts and all things musical.
Blaze was predeceased by paternal grandfather Raymond McQuate and maternal grandfather Marty Davis. Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Reilly Tatum and her husband David of Farmington, N.H.; sister, Chelsey McQuate of Rochester, N.H.; nephews, David and Jaxon Tatum and niece Mila Tatum; his "other" mom, Sandi McQuate and her husband Joe of Rochester, N.H.; paternal grandmother, Signe McQuate of Manchester, N.H.; maternal grandmother Gloria Michaud and her husband Ron of Bangor, Maine; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
