ROCHESTER - Winners of numerous awards, including two International Bluegrass Music Association Entertainers of the Year awards, The Gibson Brothers have an uncanny ability to blend the classic and the modern. With sublime harmonies their unique style honors tradition while still sounding refreshingly new.
Gibson Brothers, Eric on banjo and Leigh on guitar, are joined by Mike Barber on Bass, Clayton Campbell on fiddle, and Jesse Brock on mandolin.
"Eric and Leigh Gibson might have, pound-for-pound, the most impeccably fine-sounding traditional bluegrass band on the contemporary scene. The reason these guys can't lose is that, quite simply, they sound so great. Eric and Leigh sing bluegrass' tightest harmony blend, and, instrumentally the group plays with unmatched alacrity and taste," says Steve Leftridge of PopMatters
