ROCHESTER - With school vacation at hand, the Rochester Public Library is reminding residents of the wide variety of museum passes it has available to its members.

Offering access to places such as Boston's Museum of Science and The Children's Museum of New Hampshire, the library's museum pass program runs year-round but provides students and families a great way to have fun and remain engaged during school vacation week.

"We feel very fortunate to be able to offer these passes to our members," Library Director Brian Sylvester said. "We hope that families take advantage of this program and visit some great museums during school vacation."

Members may reserve passes for a particular day, and are allowed one reservation per museum, per month. However, the library would like to remind residents that they may not check out passes if they owe more than $5 in fines.

The Rochester Public Library offers passes to the following museums, which can be obtained at the main desk or children's desk:

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston: Each pass admits up to two people for a general admission price of $10 per person. Children age six and under are admitted free. Children ages 7 to 17, are admitted for $6.50 on school days until 3 p.m., all other times children are admitted free.
