ROCHESTER - Rochester police are today trying to determine who was at fault in a two-vehicle collision at the entrance to the Hannaford's Plaza on North Main Street on Thursday.

The preliminary investigation indicates Jack Doyle, 81 of Wakefield, was driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan and headed toward downtown when June Glidden, 65 of Farmington, who was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado, was headed west and turned into the plaza.

The vehicles met head-on.

When police arrived both drivers claimed they had a green light or green arrow.

Glidden was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for precautionary reasons. Both operators were wearing seat belts.

Any witnesses or persons that may hold information in reference to this motor vehicle accident are urged to contact Officer John Gantert of the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7127.
