Born Sept. 6, 1971 in Kittery, Maine, Brian is the son of Clarence and Diane (Marisela) Halsey.
Brian had lived in Rochester since 1985 after moving with his parents from Exeter. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School and had held a career as a phone and computer technician. Brian was a sports guy and very much a Cowboys fan but also enjoyed the New England teams. He was an excellent softball player and often volunteered to coach his children's sports. He was a wonderful husband, father, son and friend. He deeply loved his children and they loved him back. Brian's kids considered him a great and wonderful man, and also a big goofball, who always loved participating in the family activities. Camping was his favorite summer activity with his family. Anyone who knew Brian knew that he was a fun guy who loved life and had a contagious laugh you could hear a mile away. He truly was a big kid at heart. He will be missed immensely and never forgotten.
Members of his family include his wife of over 20 years, Kristine (Olson) Halsey of Rochester; his sons, Derek Halsey of Rochester and Brian Halsey Jr. of South Carolina; his daughters, Lexi and Kelsey Halsey both of Rochester and a stepdaughter Alyssa Turgeon of Virginia; his mother and father, Clarence and Diane Halsey of Rochester; his brothers, Jason H. Halsey of Rochester and Michael V. Halsey of Dover; and many nieces and nephews.
