Driving around Lebanon, Milton and Rochester is extremely treacherous today, however most motorists are taking it easy and giving the driver in front of them a good distance to stay on the safe side.

"I think they learned after the first snowstorm," said Rochester Police Det. Sgt. Tony Deluca today. "Everyone is driving at a slower speed."

Rochester Police did respond to one accident on Rochester Hill Road earlier, but there were no injuries, Deluca said.

State Police also worked a couple of accidents on the Spaulding Turnpike in Rochester.

Injury reports on those accidents were not immediately available.

Milton Police reported no accidents as of 11 a.m.

Major roads, downtown streets and back roads were all snow covered and slick, but as of 11 a.m. the precipitation was still mostly snow with no ice or sleet.
