ROCHESTER - There is no need to travel to Munich for Oktoberfest fun, food and bier ... it comes to Rochester on Oct. 13 and 14 at The Castle on Charles.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience a Munich-style feast at long tables in the 'olde-world' atmosphere of The Castle on Charles.

Lively polka music will be played throughout the evening with Gary Sredzienski, known for his long running 'Polka Party' show on WUNH radio, and as acclaimed master of the accordion and songs from 'The front porch.'

'Bier hall' games and dancing will color the evening, and German pilsner and weissbier will be available from the Castle's tavern. The feast begins with Bavarian appetizers and fondue and a 'gurken salat'.

The dinner buffet will include bratwurst, knockwurst, chicken in a mustard-bier sauce, sauerkraut and potatoes. For dessert, apple strudel will be served.
The event promises to stay lively with games, music and dancing (including a conga line) until the evening's end when guests are thrown out of the bier hall!

Tickets for the Oktoberfest dinner are $35, including tax and service, available at www.CastleNH.com where the Upcoming Events page details other entertainment at The Castle including The Fall Music Series, Halloween events and other concerts and dinner shows.

The Castle on Charles is located at 19 Charles Street in Rochester, near two public parking lots.
