ROCHESTER - Two motorists were injured today in a three-vehicle crash on Columbus Avenue.

Police say the accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Columbus and South Main Street when Jeff Wiggin, 48, of Strafford, was driving north in a 2018 GMC Sierra when he rear ended a vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light. The pickup truck first struck a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, being driven by Gail Lyle, 64, of Bardina, N.Y., which was pushed into a third vehicle, a 2004 Dodge Ram driven by Lorraine Keen, 71, of Rochester.

Wiggins and Lyle were taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.

The GMC Sierra and Hyundai Sonata had to be towed from the scene, while the Dodge Ram was able to be driven away.

The Rochester Police Department is still investigating the collision and requests that anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Ofc Justin Worthley.
