Chamber gearing up for annual summer Harley-Davidson raffle

ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce has begun preparations for its annual Chamber Raffle with tickets on sale for a chance to win a 2018 Harley-Davidson FXLR Low Rider motorcycle or $10,000 cash.

Tickets, sponsored by Service Credit Union, are available for $100 each and only 325 tickets will be sold.

Each ticket purchased admits two to what is billed as "The Greatest Raffle on Earth" Chamber Raffle Bash, underwritten by D.F. Richard Energy.

This event will be held on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, from 6-10 p.m. at The Governor's Inn located at 78 Wakefield St., Rochester.

This year the event will be carnival themed and feature a reverse raffle, sponsored by Frisbie Memorial Hospital and Waste Management.

Also included are a buffet, games and entertainment for attendees to enjoy.

Ticket holders attending must RSVP by Aug. 1 to attend.

The winners of the grand prize and runner-up prizes do not have to be present to win. Runner-up prizes are $1,000, $500 and $250. There will also be many fabulous second chance prizes drawn throughout the evening for those attending the event. Second chance prizes include local restaurant certificates, theme park attractions, home improvements supplies, automotive care package, health and beauty packages, lift tickets, sporting event tickets, and much, much more!

Motorcycle enthusiasts who wish to view the Harley-Davidson motorcycle being raffled can do so at the following locations: Harley-Davidson Shop of Rochester now until June 20; Holy Rosary Credit Union at 341 Route 11 in Farmington from June 20 to July 5, Federal Savings Bank located at 17 Wakefield Street in Rochester from July 5 to Aug. 1 and Holy Rosary Credit Union at 133 Brock Street in Rochester from Aug. 1 to Aug. 10. Tickets will be available to purchase at these locations.

Tickets can also be purchased at Granite Steak & Grill at 11 Farmington Road in Rochester or Windjammer's Seafood Restaurant at 240 Portland Street in Rochester and receive a $10 gift certificate to the restaurant. Chamber Raffle tickets may also be purchased at the Chamber office at 18 South Main Street in Rochester or online with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card at www.rochesternh.org.
