ROCHESTER - Charlene E. Steadman, 88, of 19 Whispering Wind Lane, Rochester, died at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Charlene was born in Exeter, Maine, on December 25, 1930 to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Perkins) Anderson.
She resided in Rochester most of her life, retired from Thompson Center Arms. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, arts and crafts, collecting antiques and Wednesday night card games.
Charlene is survived by her daughters, Marcia and her husband Ron Leighton of Rochester and Lynn and her husband Tom Nesbitt of Rochester; grandchildren, Sean (Diana) Taylor, Joshua (Stephanie) Nesbitt, Molly (Daniel) Mitchell, Katie (Joshua) Fournier, Casey (Stefan) Mogelnicki and Jaime Leighton; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Owen Nesbitt and Jacob Fournier; sister, Ann Nisbet of Rochester and Amber (Thad) Hall of Milton Mills, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley Sullivan.
