EAST ROCHESTER, N.H. - Charles David Garran, 74, died Friday, July 31, 2015, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born Oct. 7, 1940 in Rochester, he was the son of the late Dr. Charles Stevens and Marjorie (Foster) Garran.
Mr. Garran and his son, Jeff, were co-owners of Isinglass Auto where he worked painting cars for many years.
David was a member of the Elks Lodge 1393 of Rochester. He loved gardening, fishing, and antique cars.
Family was truly at the center of David's life. He loved dearly his wife of 56 years Janice (Ames) Garran, and lived to support and cherish his children C. Jeffrey Garran and wife, Sarah, of Rochester; Lisa Mountain and husband, Fulton, of Barrington, N.H.; and Jayne Perkins and husband, Glenn, of Lebanon, Maine; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister, Judith Fay of Laconia; and a special niece Brenda Kendall.
