Registration for the Granite State Choral Society's Spring Semester will begin on Jan. 10 in the chapel at the First Church Congregational, 63 S. Main Street, Rochester, at 3:15 p.m.

First rehearsal follows registration from 4-6:30 p.m. GSCS is looking to add singers of all ages and abilities to their ranks. No audition is required to join. Interested individuals are invited to attend one or more rehearsals in January before deciding to join the group. The Spring concert, titled "All Through the Night" will be held on April 23 at First United Methodist Church and April 24 at Grace Community Church, downtown campus.

The Granite State Choral Society is a nonauditioned community chorus dedicated to presenting quality choral performances, ranging in styles from classical to secular, and to promoting the appreciation of the choral arts. The members come from all walks of life, from age 12 on up, and range from experienced singers to novices just discovering the joys of choral singing.

Knowledge of how to read music is not a requirement, but may be helpful. For more information about joining the chorus, please email Donna at gschoral@gmail.com, or call 207-457-1576.
