SANBORNVILLE, N.H. - The annual Calico Fair, a major fund-raiser for St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Sanbornville, is set for Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the church's grounds at 118 High St.

Organizers have added a complete chicken barbecue, with many other items in the food court, which will also include the ever-popular bake table and new favorites strawberry shortcake and root beer floats.

Other attractions include a live auction, area favorite Butterfingers Da Klown doing face painting and balloon animals as well as gift card raffles, a giant yard sale and a bling table.

The church's thrift shop will also be open.

The bake table is always a lively affair as customers queue up to get the tastiest deals.

All donations are gratefully accepted. Handicapped parking is also available.
