City man charged with DWI after 2-car crash

ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was arrested for driving drunk after a two-car collision on Chestnut Hill Road on Sunday.

Police say the crash, which occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Hillside Drive, resulted when Michael Page, 61, of Rochester was driving a Toyota Prius northbound on Chestnut Hill Road and crossed the center line in to the southbound lane where he collided head-on with a Dodge Caravan being driven by Jesse Richardson, 39, also of Rochester.

Both Richardson and Page were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital by Frisbie EMS for what were said to be nonlife-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage.

Page was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a Class B felony and released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail pending a May arraignment in the 7th Circuit Court of Rochester.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
