City seeking input from public on how to improve transportation infrastructure

ROCHESTER - The public is encouraged to attend a public meeting to share their thoughts on existing transportation conditions within the city as well as their vision for setting priorities for future improvements.

The intent of the meeting is to collect input from the public, business owners, property owners and city officials on their ideas about how to shape Rochester's transportation future while considering all modes of travel.

The city's consultant, VHB, will present information and will collect input from the attendees through dialogue during a workshop format.

The meeting - the first of two such public forums - will be held on April 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Belknap Room at Frisbie Memorial Hospital's Conference Center.
