DOVER - The Rochester teenager accused of being the ringleader in the brutal slaying of a Madbury teen last summer saw his capital murder trial begin on Thursday with a tour of the crime scene.

Tristan Wolusky, 19, of 46 Lowell St., wearing dark blue denim pants and a light blue button down jersey, accompanied prosecutors, his defense lawyers and jury members as they inspected the driveway at 36 Evans Road where it is alleged the grisly crime occurred.

Wolusky, who along with Zachary Pinette, 19, of Springvale, Maine, and Michael Tatum, 22, of Barrington, N.H., has been charged in Aaron Wilkinson's death, faces life in prison without parole if convicted. He is facing charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, falsifying physical evidence, two counts of hindering apprehension or prosecution, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, two counts of witness tampering and one count of conspiracy to commit witness tampering.

Prosecutors say Wolusky, along with co-conspirators Pinette and Tatum drove to Wilkinson's home June 21, 2014, with the intent to rob him of drugs and money.

It is alleged Wolusky lured him out of his home, then tackled him to the ground after which the trio stabbed Wilkinson to death with a knife and a machete.

Later that day it is alleged they dumped his body on Long Swamp Road in Lebanon.

Pinette and Tatum have already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and falsifying physical evidence, and are expected to testify against Wolusky.

Opening statements are expected to start on Tuesday. The trial could take three to four weeks.
