ROCHESTER - Constance T. Laurion, 80, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., after a period of failing health. Constance was born in Lewiston, Maine, on October 15, 1935, the daughter of Alfred and Germaine (Poulin) Pitre and had been living in Rochester since 1956, moving from Farmington, N.H.
She was the former owner/operator of Handy Ron's Convenience Store until her retirement. She was a member of the Emblem Club in Rochester, N.H., and did a lot of volunteer work with the Hospice at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, N.H. Constance was the widow of Roger L. Laurion and predeceased by a son, Ronald Laurion who both died in 1990.
Surviving members of the family include: one son, Roger A. Laurion of Rochester, N.H., six grandchildren, Ronni and Alicia Laurion, Mike Dodge, Kristen Briand, Leigh Marlino and Tracy Poulin, seven great grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Pitre of Farmington, N.H., two sisters, Jeanette Landry of Gonic, N.H., and Constance Maurice of Montreal, P.Q., Canada and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
