Dad charged with dealing drugs out of their room at Anchorage Inn

ROCHESTER - Following tips from the public regarding possible drug activity at the Anchorage Inn, a father and son staying there were arrested on Thursday and charged with trafficking and possession.

Rochester Police began their investigation into possible drug activity on Wednesday and soon after were able to secure a search warrant, which was executed in the early morning hours Thursday.

Arrested were Robert Jones, 48, and Scott Jones, 21, both of Rm. 125, Anchorage Motor Inn, 14 Wadleigh Road, Rochester.

Robert Jones was charged with felony possession with intent to distribute, felony possession, and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $25,000 pending an arraignment.

Scott Jones was charged with felony possession. He was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned at Strafford County Superior Court later this month.

The type of drugs found was not released by police.
