LEBANON - Dennis J. Thyng, 51, of Knowles Lane, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 8, 2016.
He was born September 1, 1964, in Sanford, Maine, the son of Maynard and Marie (Bilodeau) Thyng and a 1983 graduate of Noble High School. Dennis was known as a Jack of all trades, Master of one who could fix most anything. He was a mechanical engineer for Goss International when he wasn't helping family and friends in need. Dennis had a big heart and was full of compassion for others, especially his mom. Known as a workaholic, whenever he could he would take time to enjoy the outdoors. He loved simply camping and sitting around the campfire with his dogs and folks he loved enjoying nature. Even though he was a quiet man of few words, Dennis made friends wherever he went. His unique and welcoming personality shined through to those around him. He will be sorely missed.
He was predeceased by his father, Maynard Thyng in 1992. He is survived by his companion, Suzanne Lelievre and her son, Jacob of Lebanon, his mother, Marie Thyng of North Berwick, Maine; a brother, Daniel Page and his companion Karen Claussen of Waterboro; four sisters, Deborah Overbaugh of Canton, Ohio, Dianne Bilodeau of Rochester, N.H., Theresa Ouellette of Jay, Maine, and Jeanne Bilodeau of North Berwick; three nephews, Thomas and Roy Staples and Joseph Page, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
