Despite vote Mi-Te-Jo expansion still in play, as 'amenities' continue to spawn

Mi-Te-Jo's proposed expansion map first submitted two years ago.

To the Citizens of Milton - and Lebanon:

Milton Voters, do you know that on September 3, 2019, the Milton Planning Board may approve the MiTeJo (TPR Corporation) waterpark, pool, and other lake-endangering amenities despite the fact that you rejected these same amenities by a vote of more than 60% on March 12th? And despite the fact that these amenities are part of a larger case before the Supreme Court of New Hampshire challenging MiTeJo's (TPR's) proposed expansion?

Why, then, is the Milton Planning Board even considering these disputed amenities again?? AND doing so without requiring Zoning Board approval first? AND ignoring evidence submitted by the Milton Conservation Commission that a water park near our pond has significant regional impact?

Three Ponds Protective Association, The Milton Conservation Commission and those of us living on the lakes are VERY CONCERNED that resort features like pools and hot tubs could leach dangerous pollutants into our fragile lake ecosystem. We are also concerned about the runoff from the thousands of square feet of impermeable surfaces on park model cabins and pavement around the proposed structures.

We ask that you please attend the Planning Board meeting September 3, 2019 at 6:30 PM in the Milton Town Hall and help us fight this back-door political maneuver by MiTeJo (TPR) to bypass your March vote against the waterpark amenities.

Protect the vulnerable environment of Milton Three Ponds. Demand proper town zoning enforcement at MiTeJo Campground. Come to the Planning Board meeting on Tuesday, September 3rd, and make your voice heard for the protection of our beautiful lakes and the Salmon Falls Aquifer. Nature will not give us a second chance. We have to do this right.
