FARMINGTON - Donald Albert Cameron, 72, of Central Street in Farmington, died on Thursday, March 23, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born October 6, 1944, in New Durham, a son of Albert James Cameron and Barbara L. (Shaw) Cameron. He was a lifelong resident of Farmington.
Don served as President of his family's business, AJ Cameron Sod Farms, for many years.
He was a member of Henry Wilson Grange, Great Bay Stamp Club and Eastern Pomona. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and camp at Silver Lake. He was an avid Boston Celtics fan and especially loved time spent with his family. Don enjoyed travelling and made many family road trips to Disney World.
Survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean E. (Bullis) Cameron and their three daughters Donna and husband Robert Jolly; Catherine and husband Glenn Costanzo; and Karen Cameron. He is also survived by three grandchildren Jamie Chase; Kaitlin Jolly; and John Costanzo, as well as three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Don is also survived by two sisters Barbara L. Schulte and her husband Robert Schulte of Milton, N.H.; Virginia Hillsgrove of Kinston, N.C., and three brothers Albert James Cameron Jr., of Farmington, N.H.; William H. Cameron Sr., and his wife Bernice Cameron of Farmington, N.H.; and Alfred S. Cameron of Milton, N.H., as well as two sisters-in-law Aloha Cameron of Farmington, N.H., and Dottie McGuigan of Farmington, N.H. He was predeceased by his brother, John "Jack" Cameron and five nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours are on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 2-5 p.m., at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central St., Farmington, N.H. Funeral to be on Monday, March 27, 2017, at 3 p.m., at Peaslee Funeral Home.
