Dover CPA firm supervisor gains new accreditation

DOVER - The Certified Public Accounting firm of Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association of Dover announced recently that supervisor Lynn Kasch has earned her Advanced Single Audit Certificate.

The certification from the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA) was awarded upon passing an exam and sets professionals aside as possessing advanced knowledge in performing single audit engagements under Uniform Guidance (a government-wide framework for managing grant awards).

Representing the CPA profession, AICPA develops standards and rules in the accounting industry, educates, advocates and ensures compliance within the profession. Ms. Kasch spent approximately 40 hours studying AICPA materials while replying upon her prior trainings and her 10 years of experience auditing organizations that receive federal funds to help prepare herself for the exam.

By passing the Advanced Single Audit Certificate Exam, Ms. Kasch has demonstrated her commitment, deep knowledge and understanding in this area, distinguishing her as an expert in the field.

A resident of Rochester and graduate of the University of Detroit with her MBA, Lynn has been with Leone, McDonnell & Roberts since 2002. She specializes in audits of federal funds, individual taxes and estate and trust taxes.
