Dover man injured when motorcycle strikes curb

ROCHESTER - A Dover motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon when his 2007 Kawasaki struck a curb on Chestnut Hill Road near Spaulding High.

Police say the accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. when Anthony Launey, 51, became distracted when he noticed a vehicle behind him began driving erratically.

Launey was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as minor nonlife threatening injuries.

There was no observed damage to the motorcycle, and it was able to be ridden from the scene.
