ROCHESTER - Rochester Police say a man's body found last week along the Hanson Pines running trails is that of a known city transient.

The man's body was found last Wednesday by a pair of Spaulding High cross-country team members who were out practicing on one of the trails.

The cause of the unidentified man's death will be determined by autopsy by the state's medical examiner's office.

Investigators said the death appears to be drug-related, and four play is not suspected at this time.

The area of Hanson Pines is a known summer hangout for members of the homeless and drug using community.
