DOVER - An East Rochester woman was found guilty on Thursday in the rape of a "physically helpless" 19-year-old woman in 2017.

The four-day jury trial ended with Mackenzie Godin, 25, with a last known address of 47 Main St., being found guilty on all three counts she was indicted on last January, including two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and one attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault. Each charge carries a 10-20 year prison term.

According to the indictment, Godin knowingly engaged in sexual penetration of the victim, "when at the time of the sexual assault, (the victim) was physically helpless to resist." A second count said the rape occurred "when at the time of the sexual assault (the victim) indicated by speech or conduct that there was not freely given consent to the performance of the sexual act."

The rapes occurred in Rochester between June 1 and June 23 of 2017.

Godin was remanded to Strafford County Jail while she awaits sentencing, which should occur in 45-60 days, according to court documents.
