BARRINGTON - Earl R. Newman III died in his home in Barrington on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019. Earl was born in Manchester Aug. 5, 1959 to Earl R. Newman Jr and Louise R. Newman (Ross). He had been a lifelong resident of New Hampshire.
Earl was a 1978 graduate of Spaulding High School in Rochester, entering the Coast Guard in August of that same year. Earl was very proud of his time in the Coast Guard as an Aviation Machinist and was honorably discharged in August of 1982 with the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class, E4. He was especially proud of what he was able to accomplish, and the lives he saved while serving. Earl was employed at PBS Plastics in Barrington since 2001, was considered a valued employee, and had great respect for his employers.
Being an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and spending time at the Newman Family Camp in Lyman. He also loved to read and spent many years in the past working with the Boy Scouts.
Earl, known to his family as "Buddy" is survived by his sons, Earl R. Newman, IV of Concord; Andrew Newman of Portsmouth; his mother Louise Newman of Brooksville, Fla.; a brother David Newman of Barrington; his sister Diane Dawson of Warner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Earl R. Newman, Jr and younger brother Daniel Newman.
