ROCHESTER - Edward Yurick, 74, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 after a sudden illness at Frisbie Hospital surrounded by his family. Born June 17, 1943 in Webster, Mass., he was the son of the late Michael and Josephine (Szkutak) Yurick.
Edward has lived in Rochester for the past 12 years after moving from Dudley, Mass. He was employed as an accountant for Goldstein and Gurwitz and more recently he worked for H&R Block. He was humble, quiet and a well put together man who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed playing chess and being with his grandchildren.
Members of his family include his wife Pauline (Loiselle) Yurick of Rochester; his son Michael Yurick and his wife Elizabeth of Westerville, Ohio; his daughters Jennifer J. Giampapa of Worcester Mass., and Amy M. Poulin and her husband Stephan of Dover, N.H.; he has four grandsons and three granddaughters.
