DOVER - Evelyn Mae Shaw-Woodward, daughter of Mary and Ford Shaw of Dover, N.H.
Evelyn died very peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn was a very loving sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and savior who was very devoted to her friends and family. She spent the early years of her children's lives at home to care for them and after that worked as an accountant until her retirement at the age of 76.
Evelyn was a person who loved life and lived life to the fullest. Even through the worst of times she always stayed positive. In Evelyn's life, her bright side was her family and when it came to family, she was incredibly strong and able to achieve the impossible whenever needed. Evelyn enjoyed ballroom dancing, nature but most importantly, the family gatherings.
Evelyn is predeceased by her loving husband Earl Woodward, mother Mary (Babb) Shaw and her father Ford Shaw along with her brothers Ford, Frederick, Richard Shaw and her companion Thomas Bryson.
She is survived by her daughter Linda and a son-in-law Donald "Cookie" LeClair; her son Corey and friend Nancy; brother, Loren T. Shaw and wife Elaine of Derby Vermont; sister, Deborah Boulter Maxfield and husband George of Manchester, N.H.; grandchildren, Lisa Lee Curtis and her husband Scott and Aunt Sally of Milton, Jestin D. LeClair and his wife Christie of Rochester, Amy Lee LeClair and her fiancé Steven Fowler of Wakefield; great grandchildren, loves of her life; JayCee Mae LeClair Curtis, Addison and McKenzie Curtis, Caelyn Rose LeClair, Kallee Mae and Ivy Rose Fowler and several nieces and nephews.
