Ex-Somersworth woman arrested in man's fentanyl death

CONCORD, N.H. - An ex-Somersworth woman has been arrested for allegedly supplying the drug that killed a Dover man last fall.

New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Somersworth Police Chief David Kretschmar announced the arrest of Kelly Flanagan, also known as Kelly Silva, 38, on Friday.

Police say she supplied the fentanyl that caused the death of David Gross on Oct. 4.

This charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole. After Gross's death, the Somersworth Police Department, with the assistance of the DEA, began an investigation which identified Flanagan as the source of the fatal dose of fentanyl. Flanagan was extradited from Massachusetts on Friday and was formally arrested by Somersworth Police.

She.is scheduled to be arraigned at Strafford Superior Court Monday.
