MILTON - Earth Day will be celebrated this Sunday at the New Hampshire Farm Museum with a day of hiking, planting, composting and more.

The party runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and begins with an Earth Day hike with representatives from Moose Mountain Regional Greenways.

Exhibitors will also be planting radishes and peas in the children's garden with a local Master Gardener, and visitors can make paper pots and seed tapes to take home.

Eventgoers can also learn about composting worms, visit farm animals, explore the barn, walk on property trails and harvest spring herbs to make a spring soup.

If the weather is good, there will be a sheep-shearing demonstration.

Admission: $5 adult/ $ 3 children ages 4-17.
