ROCHESTER - Ghouls, goblins and zombies will fill downtown next Friday during Rochester Main Street's annual downtown Trick-or-Treat and Zombie Walk events.

The Trick-or-Treat event is designed for costumed children aged 10-years and younger. It begins at 4 p.m. in the Union Street parking lot where families can get lists of participating businesses.

Goodie bags are also available and have been donated by Cumberland Farms. Then the children are invited to visit each participating business downtown to get treats and goodies. Bags and lists are available from Rochester Main Street until 5 p.m. or until they are gone.

Trick-or-treating ends at 6 p.m. and is followed by the popular and ghoulishly delightful Zombie Walk for teens and adults.

This year's Zombie Walk for teens and adults features participants from Studio 109, Corinne's School of Dance, and Dance N Motion 2. Enjoy their choreographed performance as they tread in a new direction this year.

The Zombie Walk parade begins this year in the Rochester Common at 6 p.m. and saunters its way to the Union Street parking lot.

The teen and adult public is welcome to participate in the parade by dressing in zombie costumes and following the dancers. Interested participates should gather in the Rochester Common by 5:45 p.m.

The public is invited to continue their festive evening downtown by dining in downtown restaurants after the Zombie Walk.

Rochester Main Street welcomes volunteer support for these events. To volunteer contact the Main Street office at 603-330-3208 or director@rochestermainstreet.org.
