Four arrested in armed home invasion

ROCHSTER - Four men including three from Rochester have been arrested in an armed home invasion Tuesday on Academy Street in which both a gun and knife were brandished .

Police said they responded to the incident around 9:10 p.m. and learned that three males entered a residence, ordered the people inside to the floor and took an an undisclosed amount of money.

Based upon a brief investigation detectives went to the Riviera Motel where they conducted a search warrant on a room as part of the investigation and recovering evidence of the crime.

The following were charged:

Cedric Ross, 34 of 157 Rochester Hills Rd apt.7 Rochester, was charged with felony armed robbery felony possession of a controlled drug. Ross was held on $5,000 cash bail.

Giovanni Angel Monroe, 35 of 15 Royal Crest MHP, was charged with felony armed robbery, felony falsifying physical evidence as well as an electronic bench warrant for failing to appear in court. He was held on $1,000 cash.

Robbie Jablonski, 36 of 18 King St., was charged with felony conspiracy to commit robbery, felony falsifying physical evidence. He was held on $5,000 cash bail.

Ryan Tiberio, 22 of 9 Western Ave apt. 4 Dover, N.H., was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and was released on $5,000 personal recognizance.

The three suspects being held will all be arraigned later today in Rochester District Court.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

This case remains under investigation by the Rochester Police Department.
