Four dead in head-on crash on Route 4 in Berwick

BERWICK - Four people died in a horrific head-on collision on Route 4 in Berwick early Saturday afternoon.

Three died at the scene and another died later at an area hospital. Four others were injured, one critically.

According to Berwick Police, Police and Rescue responded to the scene around 1:30 p.m. "with three fatalities on scene."

The stretch of road about a mile or so from the Links at Outlook golf course was closed for several hours during an investigation of how the crash occurred.

None of the victims have been identified.
