LEBANON, Maine - Frederick H. Short IV, 49, of Puddin Lane in Lebanon, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at his home of natural causes. Born in Dover, N.H., on October 15, 1969, he was a son of Norma and the late Frederick Short II and his biological mother Marion Fields of Old Orchard.
He grew up in Eliot and attended local schools including Marshwood High School before moving with his family to Lebanon where he was a passionate worker with his brothers in the firewood business. He also spent time working with his dad at their family saw mill.
He was an avid hunter with his family, loved his music, movies and watching baseball as well as time spent attending baseball games of his nephews William and Nicholas as well as watching his nephew Joseph race around on his dirt bike on Sundays.
He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including his mom Norma Short; brothers Robert Schaffer and his partner Cindy Wing and James Schaffer and his wife Patricia, sisters Dawn Gerrato and her husband David and Heather Schaffer and her partner Will Shapleigh; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
