ROCHESTER - Classmates, friends and family are mourning the loss of a Berwick woman found dead on Friday morning at a Pine Street residence here in Rochester.

Autumn Grace Getman, who is from Berwick, Maine, and graduated from Noble High in 2015, was a hugely popular girl who wanted to one day speak at high schools and "bring awareness to the dangers of addiction," according to a Go Fund Me page set up to help pay for funeral expenses.

"Autumn was absolutely beautiful, caring, funny, happy, charismatic and always wanting to be there for her family," the Go Fund Me page reads. "She was an illuminating light where ever she went - her smile was undeniably contagious."

An autopsy will determine Getman's exact cause of death, police say.

Friends and family took to Getman's Facebook page to vent their grief at her untimely loss.

"It's only been a few days but it feels like it's been a lot longer..I miss you Autumn you were my big sister and still are. I love you so so much and miss you so much," wrote one acquaintance. "it's been rough knowing you're gone and I'll never see your beautiful face again."

Another perhaps telling post read, "Thinking about all of you. Autumn touched many lives. Lean on each other. Be alert to those who may seem isolated. Sometimes a friendly word goes a long way when people are struggling."
