CONCORD - This week's "Fugitive of the Week," 32-year-old Kaylene Loranger, was arrested by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force in an apartment in the 400 block of Laconia Road in Tilton early Thursday afternoon.

Loranger was wanted on an arrest warrant issued out of the Belknap County Superior Court in Laconia for failing to appear on charges of criminal threatening with a firearm and reckless conduct with a firearm.

Loranger was featured just yesterday as the "Fugitive of the Week," which is regularly publicized in The Rochester Voice and other state newspapers as well as WMUR.

Based on the firearms related offenses, Loranger was considered to be armed and dangerous, as well as a high priority investigation.

Shortly after the "Fugitive of the Week" was released to the public numerous tips came in pointing to an apartment in Tilton. As the Fugitive Task Force approached the location a female resembling Loranger was observed entering the apartment.

The task force went to the door, but Loranger refused to come out.

After entry was made into the apartment Loranger was located and arrested without further incident. She was transported to Belknap County Jail where she will be held without bail pending her initial court appearance at a later time.
