ROCHESTER - For the first and only time, the Rochester Opera House will design and release a special edition Rochester-themed board game, based on Monopoly. They are calling it 'Rochester-Opoly'. This professionally manufactured game will center around the city of Rochester and the people that make it such a great place to live.

"Monopoly has been a staple for family game nights across America since 1935. We believe every household will want 'Rochester-Opoly' in their living room. It shows our children what is good about our town and why we call this place home." said Opera House executive director Anthony Ejarque. "Families will love sitting down to play a classic game that honors Rochester and its rich history."

Each space, card, and playing piece will be custom made to resemble some of Rochester's greatest assets. The board and cards are lined with sponsoring businesses, organizations, and landmarks from around the city. The game is a unique advertising opportunity for businesses and organizations.

Rochester-Opoly is an incredible way to get your business information into the homes of families across the city. Each playing space and card will prominently feature a business logo. All funds raised from the sales of this game will directly benefit the historic Rochester Opera House.
